The cool twist to all this is that the characters did not all end up in the same place exactly, but instead they were scattered on various layers existing within the school. Of course, grisly murders happened in this elementary school of old, which are at the heart of the story in this alternate reality. It is a gem of a survival horror adventure game by Team GrisGris that originally released in 1996 (fun fact: it was made with RPG Maker) and has been re-released and remastered a bunch of times since.Īt first look it might be hard to see the appeal of Corpse Party as a horror game, due to its cutesy chibi characters and traditional RPG top-down-view, but it makes up for what it lacks with its lush environmental storytelling and gruesome, meticulously placed details making it a genre piece worth learning from.Ĭorpse Party is about a group of high school students, who kinda get a “friends forever” sort of charm wrong when one of their friends is about to move away and end up getting transported to an alternative reality where the old elementary school that once stood in the same location as their high school now still exists. This is saved just slightly by the deaths but the series itself isn't really worth your time (or money) and the best I could give this is a 2 out of 5.Just as the title shamelessly declares, this is a story about me, Corpse Party and a bucket. Actually, most of the characters are just awful. Also the ending scene was unneeded and dumb. Like just downright shitty back and froths with little importance. Also the dialog still remains overstuffed with exposition and dribble. You can just feel the creator wanting to. We end with a flashback of the main characters older sister bathing him and grabbing his penis as a joke while he blushes. Then we have new people who help the peeing sister (who never pees by the way) and something isn't right and of course shit goes insane by the end. Then there's some psycho killer who is taking pics of the dead bodies. Then you have the little sister who's maybe 9 or 10? And she of course has to pee and so the whole volume is her trying to find a bathroom and can't just go into a fucking corner to pee so instead they have the person with her (her brother?) find a bathroom. So as they travel and get further things get worse and worse as you can imagine. So then we get the blond dude (I won't remember anyone's name from this, sorry) and he's helping one of the girls who he is in love with but she has eyes for another. These ghost in the school are all little dicks who are trying to kill these kids. So we know they are in a different dimension or realm than the real world. So we move on to another two people stuck in this school. So this is slighty better than the first but still.dumb?
